Os  primeiros  dias  do  filho  prematuro  em  casa:  discurso  do  sujeito coletivo

Objetivo: aprender las representaciones del padre frente al cuidado del hijo prematuro en los primeros días después del alta hospitalaria. Método: estudio de abordaje cualitativo. Participaron siete padres que tenían hijos prematuros hospitalizados en una unidad de terapia intensiva neonatal. Los datos se colectaron en el período de marzo a junio de 2015. Para analizar los datos, se utilizó el referencial metodológico del discurso del sujeto colectivo. Resultados: los discursos se agruparon en tres temas: 1) Viviendo las emociones de la primera noche con el hijo en casa; 2) Responsabilizándose por el cuidado del hijo prematuro en casa; 3) Colocando en práctica los cuidados aprendidos con el equipo de enfermería durante la hospitalización. Conclusión: el padre participa del cuidado del hijo. El equipo de enfermería debe estar preparado para incentivar la presencia del padre en el ambiente hospitalario, envolviéndolo en los cuidados precozmente, para que él se sienta más seguro cuando esté con el hijo en el domicilio.
