Resumen
Objetivo:Comprender las percepciones de las puérperas sobre la asistencia recibidadurante el parto.Método:Investigación cualitativa, realizada en dos maternidadespúblicas, con 25 puérperas entre agosto y septiembre de 2017. Se utilizó el marcometodológico del Discurso del SujetoColectivo.Resultados:Los discursos se agruparonen dos temas: 1) Humanizacióny satisfacción con el momento del parto; 2) Ambienteinadecuado y sufrimiento generado por la asistencia durante el parto.Discusión:Laspuérperas señalaron problemas en la estructura física de las maternidades, peromanifestaron que la atención recibidadurante el parto fue satisfactoria, porque informaronque fueron apoyadas por el equipo de salud. Sin embargo, en algunos discursos surgieronsituaciones desagradables, relacionadas con la práctica de intervenciones innecesarias,falta de acogida y de privacidad.Conclusión:Las puérperas se mostraron satisfechas conla atención recibida durante el parto, aunque hayan demostrado cierta insatisfacción. Cabedestacar que la atención del parto debe basarse en evidencia científica, basada en buenasprácticas de atención durante el parto.
