Resumen
Objetivo: analizar la efectividad de la tecnología educativa en la anticoncepción con adolescentes escolares. Método: estudio cuasiexperimental con 85 adolescentes del Instituto Federal de Ceará, Campus Aracati. La efectividad del juego educativo se analizó mediante pruebas estadísticas, comparando la diferencia de conocimiento antes y después de la intervención. Resultados: Los métodos anticonceptivos más conocidos fueron los anticonceptivos orales (33.1%) y los preservativos (44.1%). Los adolescentes tenían un conocimiento previo deficiente y después de la intervención, hubo un aumento en el porcentaje de respuestas correctas en todos los ítems, con una diferencia estadísticamente significativa en cinco de ellos (p <0.001). La efectividad del juego fue confirmada por el análisis comparativo del promedio de respuestas correctas antes y después de la intervención (p <0.001).Discusión: las acciones educativas sobre el tema deben utilizar tecnologías creativas e innovadoras, que permitan mejorar el conocimiento que favorezca la promoción de la salud sexual y reproductiva de esta audiencia. Conclusión: el juego educativo fue efectivo para mejorar el conocimiento de los adolescentes sobre la anticoncepción.Citas
