Diagnosis and evaluation of clients with injuries - a prospective study

Resumo

The study aims to characterize the tissues injuries porter clients (active or chonic) who are assisted at the nursing consultation in the Antonio Pedro University Hospital -- Hospital Universitário Antônio Pedro (HUAP) – and to analyze the results of the treatment from the scarring evolution point of view and the client participation in the self care activities, considering their social-economical condition. The theoretical argument is based on Dorothea E. Orem’ s structural conception about self care. It is about a prospective, descriptive study having a quanti-qualitative approach. It is necessary to mention that this project has Scientifical Beginning Scholarship from FAPERJ – Fundação de Amparo a Pesquisa do Estado do Rio de Janeiro.
