Resumen
Objetivo: Traducir y adaptar al portugués europeo la escala “Actitudes respecto al uso del preservativo”
Método: Estudio metodológico desarrollado a través de la traducción y adaptación cultural, así como la verificación de las propiedades psicométricas. Muestreo no aleatorio. Participaron 237 estudiantes universitarios portugueses, con un promedio de edad de 21.86 años (DE= 2,21). Se realizó traducción y retro traducción. Los datos fueron recolectados en el campus universitario en un ambiente de fiesta académica nocturna. Los requisitos éticos se cumplieron.
Resultados: El instrumento traducido es claro y comprensible. Se observó la validez del contenido y formato, la validez en la construcción y criterio. Se comprobó la fiabilidad existiendo una correlación inter-ítem satisfactoria entre .071 y .647.Las correlaciones ítem total varían entre .312 e .719 revelando la homogeneidad del instrumento. En la consistencia interna, el alfa de Cronbach fue de .880
Conclusión: la versión del instrumento prueba que es válido y fiable...
