Abstract
Descriptive correlational study that will be carried out to verify the effects of the use of virtual learning environment for students of nursing about contraception. It will be realized with students of the Federal University of Ceará, registered in the discipline sexual and reproductive health of the seventh semester. The collect will be in August of 2009 and March of 2010. Two groups will be formed, which will be submitted to a traditional classroom and the other will use the virtual environment. Questionnaires will be used for assessment of learning, characterization of participants and evaluation of virtual environment for learning. Associations will be verified through testing of the statistical program SPSS, version 15.0. The ethical and legal aspects will be respected, according to resolution 196/96.
