Abstract
This study presents the Jean Watson’s nursing theory synthesis and the articulation with the human sexuality with the purpose of promoting contributions in the nursing knowledge construction and of the human sexuality, finding encourage researchers it develop news studies with this matter. Jean Watson describes her theory as phenomenological-existential and spiritual and affirms that the her purpose is in the account of the philosophical concepts and empirical problems that face the nursing and has the hope of that her work be able to help others nurses in the inquiry and in the explanation of the trial of human care, like also direct it maintain the concept of person in the nursing science. As conclusion, the scientific knowledge basic and the knowledge in the human sciences are essential for the nursing. The analysis phenomenological of human experiences in the health and in the illness will supply the nurses with necessary facts for understand the human condition and the curative factors elaborate by Jean Watson.
