Online Brazilian Journal of Nursing

The Proceedings of the XI Ibero-American Congress of Health Promoting Universities compile the works presented during the event held from October 23 to 25, 2024, in Niterói, Brazil. With the central theme "Institutional Policies for Health Promotion that Value Life," the congress fostered interdisciplinary discussions on the role of Health Promoting Universities (HPUs) in building sustainable environments and strengthening well-being. This material reflects the collective commitment of researchers, professors, students, and professionals from various nationalities to promoting health in its many dimensions.

The Proceedings are organized into two parts: Part 1 features the five best papers selected by the National and International Scientific Committee, recognized for their excellence and relevance to the congress theme; Part 2 includes the remaining presented works, contributing to the dissemination of knowledge and the strengthening of health promotion practices.
