Resumen
Objetivo: identificar Los factores que influencian el conocimien
to de estudiantes de Enfermería sobre hanseniasis. Método: estudio transversal, con enfoque cuantitativo, realizado en el período de mayo a junio de 2016. La muestra fue constituida por 167 estudiantes de Enfermería de una universidad pública del Nordeste de Brasil. Resultado: la mayoría de los estudiantes conoce los principales aspectos de laenfermedad. Factores como ser soltero, no poseer otra ocupación ni actividad remunerada, vivir con pocas personas y buscar informaciones con los profesores estaban asociados a un conocimiento mayor sobre hanseniasis. Estudiantes del sexo femenino demostraron menores chances de conocer la enfermedad. Conclusión: los estudiantes de Enfermería poseen conocimiento sobre hanseniasis, sin embargo, aún existen dudas con relación al modo de transmisión de la enfermedad
