Abstract: Online Brazilian Journal of Nursing joins 120 science journals around the world in inviting submissions on the topic of Poverty, Health Iniquities and Human Development, to be published in a Global Theme Issue in October 2007, organized by the Council of Science Editors.

Online braz j nurs calls for participation and papers! The Council of Science Editors is organizing a Global Theme Issue on Poverty and Human Development in October 2007.

This international collaboration is designed to raise awareness of, and stimulate research on, poverty and human development. More information on Global theme issue participants is available at www.councilscienceeditors.org/globalthemeissue.cfm

The Online Brazilian Journal of Nursing (OBJN)  plans to publish new original research, review articles, editorials, case studies, professional issues, and other types of articles on the subject of poverty, health iniquities[1], institutional racism/sexism[2] (and other discriminatory ideologies), and human development[3] with a common world publication or release date of Monday, October 22, 2007.
So, the OBJN invites the nurses and other professionals to report their experience and expertise to prevent poverty, iniquities  and to promote the human development, health, wellness and happiness also!!!!
Deadline to send manuscripts for the OBJN special number Poverty, Health Iniquities, and Human Development: July 30th, 2007,  respecting the Guidelines for Authors, accompanied by a Comments to the Editor mentioning this call for papers.
