The implementation of the nursing process methodology: problems and perspectives

The adherence to an international taxonomy of the nursing practice probably will be positively related to the implementation of the nursing process in the practice setting. This paper relates a dialectic analysis for identifying problems and perspectives related to the utilization of nursing diagnoses, nursing interventions, and client outcomes. Twelve nurses were interviewed and based on the data it was concluded that an ideological discourse about nursing activities is  the principal obstacle to their development although the international and national political context are favorable implementation of the nursing activities.
