Keywords: video; research; publishing; journalism The Online Brazilian Journal of Nursing (OBJN) will be soon an online video-publication for nursing and health research. Along the rapid advancement of scientific research itself, Online Brazilian Journal of Nursing utilizes the most advanced tools to to rapidly transfer knowledge to nurses involved in the bedside or community care, and also to disseminate knowledge within the research community and to the general public. The Online Brazilian Journal of Nursing has the purpose to share knowledge to empower nurses all around the world[1] and so we all togethet can improve health outcomes for patients. We know that much time in life nursing profession is devoted to the learning of psychomotor skills; techniques, and procedures. It is a never ending process for clinical nurses because significant changes happen everyday. The OBJN is introducing now a video-based approach to nursing scientific publishing to fully capture all dimensions of nursing competencies. Visualization greatly facilitates the understanding and efficient reproduction of fundamental nursing techniques/methodologies. As OBJN´s editor, a tool to advance nursing science research, I invite you to actively participate and contribute through the submission of an article with a video where we can visualizing your research.
