Abstract:  The Online Brazilian Journal of Nursing is delighted to receive articles for publication in all of these categories from nurses and others health professionals

The Online Brazilian Journal of Nursing has the purpose to share knowledge to empower nurses all around the world[1] and so we all togethet can improve health outcomes for patients.  

To achieve these aims we publish much more than original research articles. OBJN also publishes review, invited editorials, and articles commenting on the clinical, scientific, social, political, and economic factors that affect health and well being.

 Until now, OBJN publishes only about 15% of the 250 articles received this year, but it is our aim also to give authoritative dvices to improve the manuscripts. For all types of article the average time from submission to first decision is 2 weeks and from acceptance to publication less than 2 months. These times are usually shorter for original research articles originated from Doctor or Master Programs. The OBJN rejects about 60% of all submissions without sending them for external peer reviews.
