Abstract

In this article the nursing knowledge standards were described with the intention to facilitate the assistance planning given to adolescents in risk for the human immunodeficiency virus and the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome. Such planning allows the nurse to foresee and to establish the nursing lapsing, the costs of the activities and the human resources for its implementation. Nursing Knowledge Standards — Empiric, Estetic and Ethic, were organized by Carper in 1978 after nursing has been structured by Florence Nightingale in 1850 when she had established the education structured for the nursing. What can be concluded is that promote nursing assistance for the adolescents focused on in the HIV and aids prevention will be able at the apply these standards for a better assistance comprehension to this population.
